ABSTRACT

Fallopian-tubal diseases are not rare inclinical practise that not only damage the fertility offemale, but also are lethal under certain circumstances.Hence OBGYN doctors should gain an insight into theanatomy related to the fallopian tube. Here we discussthe current status of the anatomical research on fallo-pian tube and introduce its correlation with the vascular supply of the ovary.

ABSTRACT

This study was designed to evaluate the effects of drilling through the growth plate and using adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2) to treat femoral head epiphyseal ischemic necrosis, which can be done in juvenile rabbits.Passage-four bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU)-labeled ADSCs were cultured, assayed with MTT to determine their viability and stained with alizarin red dye to determine their osteogenic ability.Two-month-old,healthy male rabbits (1.2 to 1.4 kg,n=45) underwent ischemic induction and were randomly divided into five groups (group A:animal model control;group B:drilling;group C:drilling & ADSCs;group D:drilling & BMP-2;and group E:drilling & ADSCs & BMP-2).Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),X-ray imaging, hematoxylin and eosin staining and BrdU immunofluorescence detection were applied 4,6 and 10 weeks after treatment.Approximately 90% of the ADSCs were labeled with BrdU and showed good viability and osteogenic ability.Similar results were observed in the rabbits in groups C and E at weeks 6 and 10.The animals of groups C and E demonstrated normal hip structure and improved femoral epiphyseal quotients and trabecular areas compared with those of the groups A and B (P<0.01).Group D demonstrated improved femoral epiphyseal quotients and trabecular areas compared with those of groups A and B (P<0.05).In summary, drilling through the growth plate combined with ADSC and BMP-2 treatments induced new bone formation and protected the femoral head epiphysis from collapsing in a juvenile rabbit model of femoral head epiphyseal ischemic necrosis.

ABSTRACT

To study the inducing effect of sepia on the CSF (colony stimulating factor) level of mice. The BALB/c mice be poured into sepia through mouth for five days, then obtaining the marrow cell, culturing it in Methyl cellulose M 20 which contains CSF and lasted time of CSA (colony stimulating activity) for assay by method colony forming,The results indicated that sepia could promote colony forming of marrow cell of mice and as compared with control it has a significant differences ( P

ABSTRACT

TNF in sera from BALB/c mice treated with sepia was detected by L929 cell killing assay. Sera of the mice treated with saline were used as control. Results showed a significant TNF -inducing activity of sepia in animals. And the induced sera were also cytotoxic to human cancer cells, such as GM803 and Y99.

ABSTRACT

The experiment was designed to compare the changes of cytoskeleton (including tubulin and actin) and cell surface fibronectin (FN) between NIH 3T3 cell line and transformed NIH 3T3 cell line by genome DNA of human lung adenocarcinoma cell line AGZY. We stained and observed these cells using immunohistochemical methods with antibody against bovine brain tubulin, phalloidin and self-made affinity column purified antibody against porcine plasma FN.Our results showed that the bundles of actin and tubulin are damaged seriously, demonofrating an unclear cytoskeleton structure and diffused fluorescence over the cells when they were transformed. The amount of membrane FN on transformed cell surface decreases significantly which is only 1/9 of NIH 3T3. The FN distribution altered markedly from thin threadlike network to spots and speckles. These results suggested that cell transformation was a complex event including the changes of cytoskeleton system and cell surface glycoproteins. In addition, it might also indicate that cause and effect relationship existed between these changes and the alteration of cell phenotype and loss of growth control.
